Jashn brings authentic Indian flavors to Branson, a city not exactly known for its curry. With a warm, fine-dining atmosphere and a menu that draws Indian families alongside curious first-timers, it stands out as one of the more genuine dining options in town.
What to Expect
Jashn sits just a short drive from the Branson Landing and the Scenic Railway, making it a convenient dinner stop after a day of sightseeing. Inside, the space feels more polished than you might expect, with an ambiance that reviewers describe as fine dining in style. The staff, including team members Ashique and Yasin who earned specific shoutouts from guests, are consistently praised for being friendly and attentive.
Reviewers rave about the garlic naan as a reliable highlight, and the chicken tikka masala gets called out for its rich, satisfying flavor. The chicken dum biryani has also made an impression on guests who ordered a spread of curries and rice dishes, with one reviewer noting the flavors across the meal were well-balanced and freshly made. A few guests have flagged that some dishes can run salty and portion sizes lean smaller, which is fairly common in a tourist-area restaurant at this price point. Worth knowing before you go.
Best for: Families or groups looking for something different from the usual Branson dining scene, Indian food lovers craving a taste of home while traveling, and first-timers wanting a welcoming introduction to Indian cuisine.

We visited this restaurant during our family vacation in Branson. We had a reservation for 9:00 PM, but despite reserving in advance, we had to wait almost an hour to be seated. We were a group of four families with several children under 3 years old, so the long wait was especially difficult.
After finally getting our table, we requested that they bring out whatever food could be prepared first because the kids were hungry. We were told it would take about 20 minutes, but the food arrived much later than promised.
To make matters worse, the food was served on paper plates, which was completely unexpected given the prices and the restaurant’s reputation. The food quality was poor, and the overall hygiene standards were disappointing.
The biggest issue was the customer service. When we politely asked why a 20% gratuity had been added to the bill, the staff member responded very rudely. Instead of explaining the charge professionally, he became argumentative, used offensive language, and blamed our group. The conversation turned into a heated argument because of the staff’s behavior.
Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. Poor service, long delays, disappointing food quality, questionable hygiene, and extremely unprofessional customer service."

Upon entering the establishment it was apparent the staff was making the absolute most of the space they have purchased in the building.
The atmosphere is busy but not intrusive. There was one gentleman handling the seating assignment, order taking and drink refills. (Which I was provided a liter of water I could pour myself as needed.)
The house was full and even though I was seated immediately it took around 10-15 mins to take my order. The food took an additional 20 mins to be delivered to my table.
The table was set ahead of time with a glass, plate and utensils in concert with the self serve style of the restaurant.
The dish ordered was the Goat Masala and a side of cheese naan. The Goat Masala was served with rice in a paper bowl.
The flavor profile of the rice and sauce was delicious. The goat meat was tender and juicy with minimal fat. The one caveat I have against the dish was that the bones (horn) was left attached to the meat which I’m sure is how it should be and likely adds flavor to the sauce/broth which again was delicious.
My concern with the dish was the fact I had to be hyper vigilant and aware of each bite to avoid choking or chipping a tooth. There was small bones the size of a grain of rice which caught me off guard at least 4 times.
So, if you decide to order the goat, take your time to savor each bite… it might save your life.
This restaurant is definitely in the date night category while approaching $45 per person. The food was good albeit dangerous, service staff were kind and respectful but spread thin and the atmosphere was pragmatic.
I would come back but in order to maintain the value proposition of my time and money I’d order their cheapest dish the chicken tikka as a final coup de grâce to see if I would return a third time."

This restaurant has apparently skipped that step entirely, which is puzzling, because it is one of the genuine treasures of Branson. The food arrived with remarkable speed, as though the kitchen had entered into a favorable arrangement with time itself, and every dish was excellent. The service was attentive, welcoming, and refreshingly competent (a quality that should never be taken for granted). It was the best Indian food I've had in quite some time, and the fact that the restaurant isn't perpetually crowded remains one of the more enduring local mysteries. Five stars all around."

Service is good and polite. Portions are very small but typical in vacation town. Not expected paper plates and cups though:) it's not good to serve hot items in such plastic cups and plates."

We tried a variety of dishes including different biryanis and curries, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, well-balanced, and freshly made with care. The hospitality was excellent, and a special mention to Ashique and Yasin for their outstanding service — they were friendly, attentive, and made our experience even more enjoyable. Avocado bhel is too flavorful. Overall, a fantastic dining experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!"
