“We had a wonderful stay here for our first visit to Kangaroo Island! The tiny home is incredibly cute, cozy, and perfectly located, just a 3-minute walk from Island Beach, which was one of our favourite parts. We visited during winter, and despite the changing weather, we felt warm and comfortable inside while enjoying rainy days, movie nights with snacks, and relaxing after exploring the island.
The property is easy to access, has convenient parking, and everything was thoughtfully organised. Skye was incredibly attentive, responsive, and provided great local recommendations. We also loved the wildlife around the property, including wallabies, kangaroos, and even Glossy Black Cockatoos!
The only small note is that the loft bed can get a little warm if the heater has been running for a while, but it cools down with some time. Overall, we absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and cozy getaway on Kangaroo Island. We would happily stay here again!”

I took a short stroll to the stunning beach at the end of the road and then a visit to the closest winery, False Cape where the wines are delish!

“The room are fine but little smaller than expected. But !! The beddings are extremely dirty with hair and stain everywhere! We tried to contact host but she didn’t pick up the call, finally she picked up the call and said she will send hsk to redo the bed, after waiting 1.5h no one came. So we decided to change our schedule to leave kangaroo island one day earlier! After we left, she replied she couldn’t see anything in the photos we attached which is ridiculous! Please do not stay here if you care about your own health!”

“Skye's place looks really clean and cute, and has most amenities that you would need.
We had arrived after sunset and had some trouble locating the entrance to the house but a curious and friendly kangaroo somehow knew we were guests and led us down the right path to the house!
The place is wayyy smaller than described. It is a squeeze for a fam of 3 and we had no space to open up our two luggages.
Towels were provided but somehow there was a lot of residual fur on our skin after usage, not sure if it's because the towels were brand new and not yet been washed.
On our 2nd night there was no hot water and figured a gas change was needed. We contacted Skye for urgent help but she only responded 5hrs later in the early hours of the morning so we had to go to sleep without showering. Thankfully the weather is cold so it's not that bad since we hadnt perspired at all.
So i would say as much as this place is beautiful, stay at your own risk especially if travelling with younger kids.”

“This is one of my favorite Airbnbs I have ever stayed in! I was hesitant to stay in Island Beach since it’s not in the town but it was the best decision I made for my trip to kangaroo island. It’s really a close drive to Kingscote, American River, and Penneshaw for dinners.
Check in was very easy, and the Airbnb itself was so lovely and comfortable to sleep in.
A resident kangaroo came right up to me as I was going to walk on the beach at sunrise. Absolutely magical. Highly recommend staying here.”

“Amazing! Skye was quick to respond and helped make our day fantastic. The place was very clean and we could tell a lot of thought was put into this tiny home. There’s an outdoor covered seating area which was nice to have breakfast and watch the cockatoos fly around. Kangaroo Island itself has so much to do, we really wish we would’ve stayed at least 2-3 days to see it all. The kitchen had an oven with all pots and pans which made it easy to cook. The shower was hot and had good pressure, but we tried to make it quick since the resources on the island require the need to be conservative. After a long day of exploring the island we came back and were pleasantly surprised by the wallabies roaming around the property! We also were able to see the Milky Way in the night sky which was breathtaking. I am so happy there are skylights where we could continue watching the stars and eventually the sunrise while simply laying in the nice, warm comfortable bed. This place is truly a gem”

Upon arrival we were often greeted by the adorable wallabies who had been living near the home for a while. Everything was almost perfect other than the stains that we found on the mattress topper and the dust on the bed sheets. We had to unfortunately use these to sleep on as we have had to opt for the fold-out sofa bed instead of the bed in the attic.”

“Have always wanted to try staying in a tiny home and this one did not disappoint! The beach is literally at the end of the street just a 2 min walk away. The tiny home itself is so spacious and well designed with everything you need. The deck out the front with the breakfast bar is so gorgeous surrounded by yellow wattle. And to make it even better you have a second deck with an outdoor lounge to enjoy more of the gorgeous native bushland. My partner and I slept in the loft and it was an incredible experience with the sky windows above us.

This beautiful stay was nestled amongst lush greenery surrounded by native plants and wild life, providing a perfect getaway experience.
We especially enjoyed sitting out on the deck, watching the sunrise while enjoying a cuppa and sitting around the campfire for sunset.
We also loved that it’s only a 5 minute walk to the beach.
For a tiny home, it offers plenty of space and all the comforts you’re excited to enjoy whilst on holiday.

The two decks were a highlight for us… sitting back and enjoying the kangaroos and native bush land was magic. “Skye’s tiny house is a little haven. I stayed with my husband and two small children and we loved it. It was brand new and spotlessly clean, with everything you need for a short stay. I particularly loved the bathroom - which didn’t feel like it was in a tiny house!
We saw lots of wallabies around the house, and the beach is just a 5 minute walk. Skye is easy to communicate with and self check-in super easy.
I would definitely return and recommend to others”
