Opened in Sept 2020, the Annexe is bright and comfortable. It is in the beautiful village of Needingworth, close to St Ives and within easy reach of Cambridge. There are many scenic walks nearby. The Annexe is adult only and is a cosy apartment which includes a living room with kitchenette (microwave cooking only), a bedroom with king-sized bed and a shower room with walk-in shower. There is off road parking with an allocated space for one car. Look out for all the little touches that make your stay complete! The space The Annexe has is free Full fibre WiFi. Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits are provided as well as toiletries, towels, games and books. A continental breakfast is available on request at a cost of £7.50 per head, with 24 hours notice please. The TV has mainstream channels and also Roku guest access for streaming Netflix and other apps. Guests can log in for the time of their stay and use their own accounts to access their usual streaming services. At the end of their stay they are automatically logged out and all of their log in details are erased. Manual log out is also available for those who prefer it. The king-sized bed has a comfortable Emma mattress and the shower is a large walk-in shower with adjustable shower head. Every effort has been made to ensure that you have a comfortable stay! Guest access Guests are able to access The Annexe from a separate door at the side of the house. There is one parking space on the driveway, reserved for Annexe guests. Although attached to the main house, the Annexe does not share any facilities with the house as it has its own lounge and kitchenette in addition to the bedroom and bathroom. Other things to note I try hard to minimise the carbon footprint of hosting and have put a number of initiatives in place. Please read the "Environment" section of the Information Booklet when you come to visit to find out more. Pets are not permitted in the annexe.

Annexe- cosy,clean and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay.
Basic kitchen facilities, as described, which wasnt an issue as we were eating out & with my daughter.
Comfy bed - slept really well.😊
Easy walking distance to local supermarket via road or field/ path.

The annexe was very homely, and very comfortable, particularly the great good size shower and bathroom, and very comfy bed and mattress. We had everything we needed for our stay, Nicky even provided, coffee, tea, milk. toiletries, washing up liquid, sweets. Good recommendationsbon walks in the local area, and restaurants, and loval pubs, with the welcome folder with all info on the area. This was our first visit but won’t be our last. Despite being on the main road, there was no traffic noise at night, and we had a really good sleep. The standard of Nicky’s annexe is better than some hotels I have stayed in. Wonderful plsce to stay, highly recommend. Thank you Nicky we will be back. We loved the personal touches, and what was very kind nicky left a card for my husband’s birthday, the purpose of our trip.”

The annexe is tastefully decorated and the nature photos ( all taken by Nikki were beautiful) . The Annexe book was useful and gave insight re things to do and see. I was in the area for work. Nikki’s place was a 10 minute drive away. Perfect. Also perfect was the fact there were plenty of places to buy food or to eat out. 👍🏻 The bed was comfy, shower room spacious, kitchen space compact and functional - all I needed for a 2-night pit stop. “Nicky’s lovely Annexe was the perfect accommodation for a weekend walking around the gorgeous Needingworth area! We enjoyed walking the 40 minutes (5 minute drive) to central St Ives but there are plenty of pubs in the closer villages if you don’t fancy walking too far.
Nicky was an amazing host, very responsive and gave us loads of local recommendations which definitely helped us make the most of our time in the area!
The Annexe was spotless, really stylish and fully stocked with everything we needed for a couple of relaxing nights away.

The four star for value is, I suppose, because we come from Northumberland! - price probably very normal for the area. All in all we had a great relaxing place to rest during a tricky family visit in the locality. I personally couldnt have wished for better!
