The property is located off the beaten track, quiet , serene and superbly fitted out. We wanted for nothing.
Spotless throughout, amazingly comfortable beds and spacious for the 4 of us staying.

“We stayed 8 nights in the beautiful restored barn of Peter & Sarah… it’s a unique, calm & peaceful place to stay and can’t be better! It is wonderful to sit and overview the garden with the first coffee in the morning ! The barn is nestled in nature and you really feel like you’re in ‘slow-living’ mode. Many beautiful beaches and a lot so see is near. The house is tastefully furnished and thoughtfully decorated… not too much and not too little!
We slept fantastically and felt really comfortable all the time.
Sarah and Peter are attentive and discreet hosts… we didn’t meet they in person, but we certainly could have. Every question was answered quickly and we received helpful tips and recommendations for the region and beyond!
We would love to come back someday…

“Just returned from an idyllic but far too brief stay at Ffynnon cottage with my grown up kids. From the moment we arrived it felt special- everywhere spotlessly clean and so comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. A feeling of calm and wellbeing lasted the whole stay as we rambled through the wildflower filled lanes, cooked supper in the well equipped kitchen and watched the world cup and played games late into the evening. There were so many beautiful beaches and pretty towns nearby we could easily have spent a week or two instead of just two nights. We all promised ourselves to return soon and wanted to say special thanks to our hosts who were responsive and amenable to all our requests.”
“We had travelled to Pembrokeshire to take part in some of the Long Course Weekend event, but unfortunately illness meant I couldn’t participate. We looked forward to exploring the beautiful coastline with our dog instead, but he injured himself on our 1st day, so those adventures had to be cancelled too.
Thankfully, Pete and Sarah were absolutely fantastic. They went above & beyond to help us deal with our dog’s injury, and their kindness and support made a difficult situation so much easier.
Ffynnon itself is a beautiful place to stay. It’s thoughtfully designed, impeccably equipped, and full of lovely little details that make it feel special. The surroundings are peaceful & picturesque, making it a wonderful place to relax, even when plans had to change.
Despite our trip not going to plan, we still came away having thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We’d happily recommend Ffynnon to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable retreat, and we’d love to return to fulfil our “Plan A”!”

We absolutely loved staying here!
The whole space was immaculately clean and had everything we needed!
It was a true getaway, we watched the geese and their goslings every day, spotted the local heron hunt for food in the pond and spied some bullfinches in the garden. Bliss!
It was so tranquil which is exactly what we wanted. It rained heavily on our first night and the space was so cosy. We loved watching the rain through the sliding doors.
The barn was in an excellent location. We drove all over and visited some great local spots, mostly beaches :-)
Peter and Sarah treated us to some Welshcakes and they so kindly got me vegan ones which I was super excited about! So delicious.
We will be back again! Would love to see the barn in all seasons.

This barn has a peaceful location with beautiful views out to the pond and fields beyond which are framed perfectly by the huge sliding doors. The open plan design makes for a very sociable space and the log fire added an extra cozy feel to our winter break. Kitchen is well stocked and all finishes are of a high quality. We slept well and loved the underfloor heating.
Sarah provides a W3W reference so the location is easy to find.
There's plenty to explore within 30 minute drive or if you want to go on foot there's a beautiful bridleway near the barn. Books, maps and games are provided to keep you busy.

“A lovely, well-equipped property, with such helpful hosts. The garden was a nice calm place to sit out; we were lucky enough to see a kingfisher. We had some bad weather, and Sarah kindly offered rainy-day suggestions and even extra toys for without prompting (there were already some toys in a chest in the lounge). The property is down a private farm track, but the instructions are very clear, so you know you're in the right place. There are several nice beaches within half an hour's drive. The property felt very private, and being detached was great with a loud toddler in tow! There's a nice park ½ mile down a footpath, passable by pram in Sept. There are steps in the house that may need supervision with a new walker or ambitious crawler, but not a problem. For rainy days Picton Castle has a family room with board games, as well as the castle itself; there's an adventure playground and fairy-door trail, but it was too wet for us to try. Thank you :)”
“Beautiful bolthole in the deep countryside in Wales but easily driveable to fantastic beaches. So peaceful at night. Very clean, though I suggest bringing cleaning products if you want to clean the kitchen when you're there. Lots of lovely things for the kids to play with was a lovely offering as well as the delicious vegan Welsh cakes. The beds were really comfortable. Would have loved comfy outdoor seating for the evening! Toasting marshmallows over the fire pit was fun. We were given great suggestions of things to do, our favourites were stackpole Quay, freshwater west and the bosherton lily river walk to Broadhaven south beach.”

Stunning accommodation which was both welcoming & better than the pictures. Outlook was lovely & there was a secure garden which was ideal for our dog.
Kitchen was well stocked with a dish washer, washing machine etc & it was great that dish washer tablets were provided . Plenty of towels supplied in various sizes which was ideal.
Good location near to Pembroke Dock but not far to Tenby, Saundersfoot etc.

The house is well located to supermarkets and y and yet in a very peaceful setting that gives you the countryside vibes. It is well positioned to to all of the tourist sites, for example we went to Scoma Island to see puffins, and we also went to Little Haven and Broadhaven, some lovely beaches around and loads to do.
The place is pet friendly which is a big bonus for us so we can enjoy our holiday with our little Furry friend .”
“This is one of the best places we have stayed. Inside is beautiful, spacious and well-designed, a lovely layout, warm.and comfortable, lots of storage space in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms, and lovely touches like the full spice rack, digital speaker and dog treat.
Outside is glorious, watching the sunrise over the pond, and playing in the secure garden (fantastic for our dog).
It is a great base to explore the coast from St David's round to Tenby, and a very comfortable place to spend the odd rainy day in too. Highly recommended.”

“Wow! This is a hidden gem in the most beautiful surroundings. From the get go we loved it, the barn was better than we expected and my first words when I saw the glass doors and garden was wow! The interior of the house was perfect, simple, cool and also cosy on then stormy winter days we especially like the log burner and under floor heating! Location was great for us to explore all the coastlines of Pembrokeshire, a few of our highlights were Martins Haven, Marloes Sands Beach, Tenby and Church Door Cove. Also a must visit food spot for Runwayskiln, yum! Everything had been thought of and it was super clean. The Welsh cakes left for us were very welcome!! Sarah was so responsive and gave some great local recommendations which we explored. We would highly recommend this space to anyone and we can’t wait to come back.”

“We stayed with our two teenage boys in Pete & Sarah’s home.
The barn is at the end of a gorgeous track which has a little brook running along it.
The barn is set in front of a pond/small lake with views up to the valley top. We spent a lot of time looking at the view and watching the wildlife.
The home is really well set up with a large main bedroom and ensuite. Our boys were very happy in the twin bedroom. Both bathrooms are gorgeously fitted out. The underfloor heating is great as was the log burner in the lounge.
Sarah & Pete were very responsive and friendly from start to finish making for an easy stay.
We visited St David’s, getting there early & pretty much having the cathedral & medieval palace to ourselves. The cathedral has a rectory restaurant with the best Welsh cakes. White sands beach, near by is beautiful.
We also walked from the front door of the barn through beautiful countryside with ponds, fern filled forest and streams.
It’s a beautiful place to stay.”

There are walks on your doorstop public footpaths to a nearby lake and a short drive takes you to the most amazing beaches barafundle bay to name just one!

“We loved our trip so much, our Christmas stay was magical & far exceeded our expectations. The setting was beyond what we imagined; fenced off garden is big with magnificient view of wildlife pond & rewilding. Saw barn owls every morning & eve; Jays, heron, woodpecker, kingfisher, songbirds, buzzards & kites- even had a swan land on Christmas Day! The barn was gorgeous, everything brand new. Soft & high quality towels and linen- love the styling- minimal but very cosy & snug. Everything was thought about including torches, hot & cold outdoor tap, kitchen utensils & endless firewood (we did over indulge in this so thank you again) although the barn was lovely & warm without fire. Walked in every direction from barn, & even just walking lane/ drive was lovely when our elderly dog just wanted a gentler day. Walks to the hanging stone a must, aswell as Mildford Haven. Also walked through a ford & small waterfall when on local walks. Drove to St Davids, also St Govans Chapel. Just perfect.”

We could not have been happier with this beautiful property and its beautiful location. This was just what we needed for a peaceful half term break.
Peter and Sarah are such warm and welcoming hosts and are on hand to help with anything. We were very touched by the lovely thoughtful gifts on arrival, including treats for us and our dog and 3 wonderfully carved pumpkins - thank you!
The barn has been beautifully renovated and is just gorgeous - spacious, spotless and homely and it’s equipped with everything you could want. The beds are cosy and comfortable and there’s great water pressure and plenty of hot water.
The view over the pond is simply stunning and the large, enclosed garden was a lovely safe space for our daughter and our dog.
We were perfectly located to visit the local area by car but there are also several walks to explore from the front door.
We’ve had a wonderful restful break here and would very much like to return again soon. Thank you!”

“Gleich beim Eintreten waren waren wir hin und weg: Durchwegs eine sehr stilvolle und moderne, gemütliche Unterkunft. Wir waren drei Erwachsene und ein Hund und hatten mehr wie genügend Platz im Haus von Sarah und Pete. Wir mochten einfach alles: Die Einrichtung, die Farben, die Materialien. Die Grösse und Einteilung ist perfekt, die Ausrüstung der Küche ideal, um leckere Mahlzeiten zu kochen. Die Ausgangslage toll für Wanderungen an der Küste oder Besuche der hübschen Ortschaften rund um Sardis. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ca 10 Fahrminuten entfernt. Ein Auto definitiv notwendig. Pete und Sarah waren immer sehr gut erreichbar und sehr grosszügig, wenn etwas gefehlt hat (zB Holz für den gemütlichen Ofen). Der Garten ist komplett eingezäunt und somit ideal für Gäste mit Hund. Wir waren über eine Woche in der Barn und hätten es noch viel länger ausgehalten. 100% ige Empfehlung!”
“Absolutely loved staying here! Beautiful little spot of paradise! Warm and stylish accommodation, well thought out, and very homely. Comfy beds, great bathroom/showers, awesome kitchen set up, and living room to enjoy, with a cosy arrangement to hang out in front of the telly, stove, or outside on the terrace. Helpful outdoor space for the dog as well! And a great location to venture out from on road trips, long walks, sightseeing, and the coast. Surrounded by some cute villages and towns nearby, with good food and bevvies all about! Thanks for a great stay!”

“We think that Pete and Sarah's airbnb was excellent, in fact we think it's quality was probably the best for this type of property that we have ever stayed in.
Everything was of high quality, clean, smart, well appointed and spacious.
All we needed in the kitchen was there, the bathrooms were great with good showers. the double bed was very comfortable and the towels excellent dryers.
The building was warm and welcoming, with readily available hot water.
The décor and layout was very tastefully presented.
We found the books showing local walks were very useful which we used.
The hot and cold hose with shower head to wash off our dog at the end of a days walking was very helpful.
TV and Wi-Fi were very good.
All in all home from home, very well thought out.

“We absolutely loved our stay here. The place was very clean, fresh, comfortable and with lots of details considered. The guys were super friendly and accommodated very well for our 7 month old baby and our dog. We loved that the welcome pack was vegan. We had mentioned that was our dietary restriction and that was kindly catered for, plus lovely treats for the dog. The location is tucked away and was just the right amount of private for us. The dog was able to roam freely in the secure garden which he loved. The hosts were very considerate and respectful of our time there. We particularly enjoyed watching the swallows feed over the pond. We would love to come back and to keep on exploring Pembrokeshire from this perfect base.”
“Our stay here was truly amazing, by far the best airbnb we have stayed in. The attention to detail and the quality of everything was perfect. The house, surroundings and area were great for a relaxing break and to explore Pembroke. Peter and Sarah have done everything to make this beautiful barn conversion luxurious and welcoming. The huge sliding doors were fabulous too! We didn't get brilliant weather but that did not matter, and when the sun did shine it was beautiful, it was just so comfortable and peaceful! “Nous sommes ravis des 4 jours que nous avons passé à Ffynnon! Le site est préservé et sauvage, la vue sur l'étang est incroyable grâce à la baie vitrée qui fait au moins 7 mètres de long et qui donne l'impression d'être immergé dans la nature. La rénovation de la grange est très réussie, nous avons beaucoup aimé les matériaux et les idées de conception. L'intérieur de la maison est magnifique, extrêmement propre, et très bien pensé en termes d'aménagements. Nous y avons passé d'excellentes nuits, la literie étant de haute qualité et les alentours très paisibles. Ce logement est parfait pour les enfants et également très adapté à l'accueil d'un animal. Notre chien a bien profité du parc privé clos, et des jolis sentiers alentours en forêt où nous avons croisé des promeneurs et des maîtres sympathiques. La communication avec Sarah a été agréable et fluide et ses réponses rapides. Nous étions tristes de partir car nous nous y sommes sentis vraiment très bien!

“Without doubt, this was the nicest, most comfortable place we have stayed in. It feels like the hosts have thought about what they would like in a holiday place and as a result it feels such a relaxing, warm, well equipped, homely place!
The location is amazing - peaceful, with lovely views and a real sense of calm. You could really switch off and enjoy. You are also not far from lots of great days out if you want but can then come back and eat outside overlooking the pond, watching the wildlife.
I communicated with Sarah and she could not have been friendlier or more helpful. As it’s “a little of the beaten track”, the directions to the place were also spot on! She helped make the stay even better 😍
I would not hesitate to recommend Ffynnon to anyone. If it’s free - book it, you won’t regret it! Next time we come to Pembrokeshire, I’ll definitely be checking if it’s available.
