The bathroom is very nice, including luxury towels and homemade goat milk soap by a local artisan. The slate floor and decorations are very, very nice. In the mornings we got to bottle feed a baby goat. And tried milking a goat with Frances. It was an amazing experience. We will be back!!!!”

“The place was adorable. From the giant majestic trees with the swings, to the animals, and the decor of the guesthouse, it was just what I was hoping for. Other than all that, the stand out mention gos to the lovely host, Frances. She is always responsive, friendly and kind. She is right there to give you a warm greeting upon arrival, introduce you to the animals, and answer any questions you might have. The guesthouse is stocked with all the essentials, including bug spray. We had a lovely two night stay. Oh yeah, we loved the black kitty cat named Coal.”

The host accommodated a curious 7-year-old (my grandson) with a 'behind the scenes' tour of the chickens, ducks, and 'fainting' goats. Her lovely daughter helped him collect farm fresh eggs and educated him on the farm animals. The dwelling was well-appointed with thoughtful touches. A box of books and toys were lovingly placed for the enjoyment of my grandson including his new favorite Beanie Baby 'Goatie'. If you are looking for a peaceful, easy feeling.....this is your place!”
“The Farm Stay 1 was exactly as advertised. Close enough to town to be convenient but enough property to seem miles away from everything but safe and secure too. Furnishings are tasteful, high end and comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen other than the coffee pot but it was fully equipped. The room and grounds are maintained very well. The swing on one of the the huge trees out front was perfect for reading and relaxing. We enjoyed the goats, chickens and ducks too!”

“Fairhope Farm is a peaceful and restful place an easy drive from Fairhope. We stayed in the smaller guesthouse which is as pictured, with a comfortable bed, a kitchen area with a full stove, microwave and mini frig and this met our needs nicely, as we are an older couple with no children or pets to accommodate. We enjoyed sitting outside as there is a nice pergola, and big live oaks, and some early blooming shrubs. Frances met us and provided an introduction and was available answer any questions This is a working farm with goats, chickens and a friendly cat. Guests should be mindful and respectful of that. The internet was consistent with good speed and no problems for checking websites, etc. We did not need to access streaming services. The farmstay 1 was a lovely space, that was clean, comfy with total privacy and we were happy with our 2 night stay.”

The property has a feel of being in the country - lots of big live oaks, but groceries and restaurants within a couple of miles. Very quiet and very dark at night under the oaks.
Frances has extensive local knowledge. Her restaurant and attraction listing in the room is the most complete I've seen in any AirBnB, and she greets you when you arrive - no keypad here. All in all a great place in a great town.”

“Fairhope Farm is a hidden gem. It's a quiet little retreat 5 minutes from town. We loved the peace and quiet plus all the animals. Farm stay#1 was perfect for my husband and I. The decor was very nice and it came with a full kitchen and all the accoutrements to cook if you want to. It has only a mini fridge with a tiny freezer, enough to keep a little food and make a little ice. It has a small tv, about 20 inches, with a huge amount of dvds to watch. We brought our Amazon Fire stick and were able to watch Amazon Prime shows. The queen bed was firm, as I like it. The bathroom was small but nice with good water pressure. The grounds are lovely and peaceful. I felt very safe here. It's a little slice of country 5 minutes from town, the best of both worlds. Frances and her daughter were super nice people and gave me a farm tour and let me feed and pet the goats. I'd definitely stay here again!”

We especially enjoyed our day at Opal Beach in Florida, which was just under a 2 hour drive each say but totally worth the drive. There are lots of nature preserves to visit in Alabama too in addition to beaches. We enjoyed seeing the sunset from the bluff above the pier in Fairhope.”

“I’ve traveled the United States, and this is my favorite Airbnb. Frances and her family are amazing. They gave us farm fresh eggs and jam, were particularly helpful in recommendations in the town on shops and restaurants, let us feed their baby goats, and were entirely accommodating by even providing beach chairs and an umbrella because we forgot ours!
The place is extremely clean, offers way more than the value paid, and is right on their awesome farm. The bed is so comfortable, the space highly insulated from other noises, and you will not find a better space for the money. There was even a highly generous selection of DVDs, and a bag of toiletries and extra towels and pillows to make sure you’re comfortable in case we forgot anything.
You can be as interactive as you prefer. The town of Fairhope is one of Alabama’s best kept secrets. Gulf Shores was only about 40 minutes away, and there’s even a beach on the bay of Fairhope, so we decided to spend our last day shopping and walking the beach near downtown, less than ten minutes away.
This the most hospitable family, and they are honest in every way, especially in how they show photos and run their place with excellence. Look no further and book with them!”
