“Convenient location in town. It is a large place but very old and in need of new paint and a deep cleaning. Dishwasher was clean when I got there, but full of dishes which was odd. I did not unload or use it. There was a random battery in the master bed with messy sheets so I did not sleep there. The bathroom is old so I get that it is hard to keep clean. It has an oven but no baking pans. Coffee maker was dirty and had not been washed and with broken glass. After that I washed everything that I used. Just needs more attention to the unit.”

“The house is clean and truly is a solid place to stay for the value. However, the spare bed was extremely uncomfortable along with all of the pillows. The couch was falling apart and not comfortable for 3-4 people to sit on since many of the spots were pretty useless. It’s also on a very busy street and cars go by nonstop even at 2-4am. The kitchen was renovated and had a lot of the basics you would need/want. The bathroom had great water pressure in the sink and shower. If you need an inexpensive place to stay, it certainly works. Just needs a little love in the couch/bed departments to make it a 5 star from me.”

“We drove down from Colorado and stayed at this location again, we had a very good experience the first time and the second time was just as good! They let us get settled in early which helped us with our pets and were very quick to respond when we had questions. I highly recommend this location if you want to be close to downtown without paying downtown prices and it’s a whole bargain because you get the upper or lower level of the house. It’s a comfortable home and I know the neighbor so it feels so much more homely.
The beds are comfortable and the feeling of the home is quaint and modern with a bit of a retro feel. You just can’t beat it for what it is.

“Perry was very friendly from the time I reserved the bnb. There are only a few minor things that I’d like to leave in my review that aren’t really complaints.
We were in town for a family wedding and had some family to visit. So there are two spaces to park and that’s it. So any additional visitors need to park across the street at the school. But that may not be an issue for most guests. No biggie. The other thing is you may want to bring a few extra blankets as the ones provided are thin. I slept like a baby the 3 nights I was there but if firm beds aren’t for you then I’d be mindful of that. My only real complaint was the livingroom furniture. It looks comfortable in the pictures but it sadly isn’t. The chair feels like you’re going to break it and is rickety. Sofa is hard and broken down severely.
Although the place was very clean, up to date and in working order. It was nice having a washer and dryer with soap and softener provided. I would stay at again when I’m in town. Thanks again Perry.”
