“Lovely condo for a ski trip! Nice kitchen/common area layout and you have the option to use the Mountaineer shuttle service to get to Alpine Meadows and the bus to get to either Alpine Meadows or Palisades. Fit our group of 8 adults quite well with some shared beds and one person on the futon.”

Plenty of space to store gear between days on the slopes. Kids loved private hot tub on the balcony. Balcony does overlook main road to Alpine but don't be discouraged as this road is exceptionally quiet after nightfall. Would definitely stay here again.”
“We have a great time staying at this place. The kids loved playing snow on the deck and even made their first snowman. The view is spectacular. Having the jacuzzi with the snow mountain in front of our eyes is a once in a life time experience. The kitchen is perfect. Beds are comfortable. Also on a heavy snow day, there is still a shuttle bus going to palisades resort. We had a great memory staying here.”

It is location isper convenient, close to both ski base and town cwmters, we had no problem getting everything we need with.just a short drive. And the easy access to free shuttles to and back from Alpine also was so essential on the day we lost our car key! The apartment was well kept, with everything exactly like.the description. Mark was very responsive and very helpful! Highly recommended!”

“Marks place was perfect for our trip to Lake Tahoe. It’s nestled in a great part of town with easy access to everything you may need. Literally a 10 minute drive to get to the lake and grocery store. There are plenty of trails a bike path and 2 restaurants within walking distance. There was plenty of space for our group so everyone was very comfortable. It Had a well stocked kitchen for cooking and dining. We had a great time. The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a great time there. Thank you Mark!”

“Mark was an EXTREMELY helpful host and went above and beyond! We scheduled this trip right at the beginning of the large blizzard that hit Tahoe. During our stay, we had a power outage due to the extreme weather and Mark was extremely responsive and helpful during that time. Mark was able to provide us advice on driving conditions and even brought us supplies for the outage so we could charge phones, have some heat, etc.
We absolutely loved the location and cozy condo and would love to stay in one of Mark's properties again!”

Great location for driving to either Alpine Meadows or Olympic Village. Also super convenient for the free Tart Bus system - 2 minute walk to the stop for those who didn't want to drive to the ski areas.
Beds were comfortable and place was clean.

“It’s a beautiful condo at great location if you like to hike and go around on the trails. The only feedback I like to share is take your own linen. And if you use hard bed then this not a place for you. Everything else was perfect. Hot tub was a plus and we enjoyed the view from there. Kitchen was well equipped and has all small appliances which was very easy and quick to manage few meals. Kids enjoyed too. So if you are looking for a vacation this is great deal :)”

Absolute gem! Perfectly located for any point of interest in the Northern Tahoe areas. This condo is at the bottom of the hill for Alpine Meadows/Palisades Tahoe and Olympic Valley. Across the street is a DELICIOUS local cafe, Crest Cafe, open for breakfast & lunch. Weather permitting they have a patio that faces the Truckee River. Speaking of which- love the fact you can hop directly on the Truckee River Trail! Most of your major shopping can be done down the road in Tahoe City.
Honestly- can go on forever about the pros of the location. As for the condo itself, it’s even better than it’s pictures. Accommodated our family very comfortably.”

Super close drive to nearby stores, dining, and the Kings' Beach area. The hot tub was a perfect treat to come back home to after a full day of adventure. The area itself is quite calm and private, away from tourists. Mark himself was very accommodating, super responsive, and ready to provide the best experience and meet customer satisfaction. Our kids enjoyed cooling off in the pool and relaxing in the private hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped to cook meals. If you are a light sleeper, we would suggest sleeping on the upper level as the lower level bedrooms will hear noise walking and plumbing from upstairs.”

“The house was exactly as described and met our needs for our short stay.
We did not get to utilize the hot tub but it appeared to be in working order.
Our only challenge was the check-in instructions and the unit number were not provided even after the time of check-in. We waited at the address for some time for Mark to write us back with which unit was the rental and how to access it.
Aside from that the location was good and easy access to River Ranch restaurant and the mountain. The town was unfortunately re-paving the road while we were there which made for some noisy mornings and quite a lot of traffic but such is the trade off of renting near a highway.
We would certainly consider renting again from Mark.”

“Beautiful location right off of the main road to Alpine. Easy to find. A short drive away from the resort. Base to base Gondola makes it more practical to park at Alpine which is 4 miles from the condo and far less crowded and shoot over the hill to Palisades. Loved the location.
The condo is great, spacious, and in a very quiet area which we appreciated. The kitchen and dining area was fully stocked. All we needed to do was bring some groceries and we were set for the entire time without needing to re up in town which gave us more time to ride and relax in the hot tub after a long day. We would definitely come back.

Mark was very responsive and helpful when we ran into issues. we got about 20 inches of snow in 24hrs and they unfortunately did not plow the driveway in the complex at any point, so our car did get stuck on the steep part of the driveway, but otherwise no issues - the surrounding roads were well maintained. would love to stay again sometime!”

“Mark knew he had cockroaches and still listed the place. He would not provide a full refund of the disgusting condo that was filled with roaches. He manages other properties in the area so I will never ever agree to stay at one of his properties. I'm so extremely disappointed. When I told him there were roaches he said, "Yes we have treated for them. Sorry!" That's all you have to say? Awful. I was so deceived and was loving the place and the hot tub, but that's so unacceptable for a host to list that.”
