Whether you’re coming to relax on the porch with a morning coffee, visit the horses, or explore nearby parks and trails, you’ll enjoy an authentic country experience! A hidden gem in Harford County nestled in between the Baltimore County line and the Pennsylvania line, surrounded by a wooded 3600 acre private park in an equestrian atmosphere. Please note the surrounding fields are privately owned and used for horse pasture only. Electrical transmission towers are located within the pastures and are visible from parts of the property. This is a working farm environment and part of the rural landscape. Conveniently close to I83, several wedding venues, Breweries, Wineries, Golf courses, unique restaurants, the historic Ladew gardens,steeplechase racing, polo matches and several state parks including Rock State park home of the King and Queen seat and Kilgore Falls! Guests are welcome to explore the trails in the park surrounding our property. If your willing to hike a short 20 minute the creek provides opportunity for fishing and swimming. Enjoy and relax with your morning coffee on the front porch while soaking in the views of the horses and deer in the fields! Enjoy the fire pit and chairs for relaxing around the campfire. We provide some ingredients for making s’mores! Please bring your own fire wood or feel free to find your own in the surrounding woods on the property. We also have a charcoal grill for grilling (please bring your own charcoal) We have farm fresh eggs available for sale from our chickens. Ask your host for pricing. Starter items- we provide some basic items to help with your first night like toilet paper, dish soap, paper towels, trash bags, laundry detergent. Please plan to pack/buy any additional disposable or specialty kitchen, bathroom and laundry items required for the length of your stay. Parking-you will receive a message with designated parking instructions. Stairs- please be mindful there are stairs to climb to enter the apartment. Keys-this home has keyless entry and you’ll receive a code shortly before arrival. Trip insurance-we encourage all guests to purchase trip insurance to protect themselves against any scene or unforeseen events that would prevent or disrupt their trip, including personal emergencies, inclement weather, power outages,etc… Smart tv-just login to your own streaming account and enjoy! Linens/towels-bedding and bath towels are provided for your convenience. Families with small children -a booster seat and pack and play is located in the twin bedroom in the closet. Rate discounts-we adjust our prices to reflect the current market, our location and the amenities we offer. We do not accept discount request. Guests are welcome to explore the conservation park surrounding our property. You’re welcome to visit the horses and chickens at your own risk, but please do not enter the fields, stalls or chicken enclosure. Please do not feed any animals on the property without permission from your host. Children must be supervised at all times. ** The road leading to the home is a single lane gravel road ** The building holds 2 separate apartments, one on each side of the building with private parking and entrances ** The units are on a well and septic system with a large shared hot water heater. ** Electric towers are located in the horse fields, which are not accessible to guests. ** We do have wifi and Roku TV. Some DVDs are also provided and you are always welcome to bring your own. Please bring your own charcoal for the grill. You may bring your own wood for the campfire or find your own in the woods on the property

“My wife and I and our two adult children needed a home base for a family wedding in the area, and this fit the bill wonderfully. Set among rolling hills, forest and farms, the house had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay, plus nice walking trails for when we had down time, and a campfire that we didn't have time to use. We would suggest finding the house for the first time in daylight, since the road to it is winding and, at least in some places, gravel and only one lane. But overall, we very much recommend this place.”

“Holly’s place was perfect for our few friends after our wedding nearby! It was spotlessly clean and so peacefully relaxing!! It was remote and quiet in the woods! There was a nice fire pit outside with chairs to relax by with snores!!! There was an attached apartment on the other side with people staying there as well but we didn’t even know they were there at first! We ended up making friends with the party staying there; however, if you wanted you wouldn’t even know anyone else is around the property is so quiet and remote!”
“Holly's place is very nice, clean and well located for an event we attended in a nearby town. It is a great space for a group to share; rooms are large. There are power lines that effect the farm view, but that's not a deal breaker. We loved sitting on the small deck with our morning coffee. We took a nice walk to the stream, got help from Holly immediately when we locked ourselves out accidentally, and purchased some farm fresh eggs while we were on site.”

“Our stay at High Voltage Farms was wonderful. It was super clean, we got to pet the horses. It is a country setting. The host responded to us every time we had a question. For a 3 bedroom (but 4 beds), 2 bathroom place the price was just right. Would highly reccommend!!

“Visiting for a large family reunion weekend - enjoyed having these accommodations for intimate time with our kids and grand kids. The space allowed for nice morning time before catching up with the larger group. The girls enjoyed seeing the nearby horses too. Holly kept in touch across the weekend so I never felt we were an afterthought. Will visit again for the same reunion next year.”

“This immaculate, homey and airy apartment is located in a peaceful setting with beautiful horses. The space is even prettier than the pictures and we really enjoyed the fire pit and seeing the horses.”

“Holly’s apartments worked well for us but there is not enough hot water for peak demand times, especially between the two apartments. (We rented both units- 7 people total) We liked the layout. Although we did not use the fire pit or the grill, both wood and charcoal were available. It was really a peaceful and quiet place. The climate control was great. Has all the basic necessities. Be mindful of the concrete stepping stones from the parking area to the apartment steps if it is at all wet and cold- they were icy.
Note/ There is no closet or place to hang clothing in the master bed room of apartment B. Overall was convenient and was super close to PondView Farm if you are attending or planning an event there.”

“This place is an awesome get away from home with a nice country feel. I wish I had been there under better circumstances. I was there for a bunch of family travel and a relaxing vacation. The next time I book this location will be for a relaxing vacation with no distractions. I really wish I was able to visit the creek and hiking trails, or have a fire in the fire pit, as Holly provided smores provisions on the table in the kitchen on the table. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you could need. There really wasn't anything that wasn't there for you. Be aware that there is no cell service at the house, which I don't remember seeing in the ad but might have been. The Wi-Fi is good, so Wi-Fi calling wasn't a problem, but if you want to text someone you will need to walk up to the top of the driveway. I have AT&T and my daughter has Verizon and neither works there. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend to friends and family this location and will book again.”

Holly was really helpful and her communications were spot on. The Airbnb was peaceful, easy access to Baltimore, clean, and the home had comfortable beds/couch/amenities.
We had easy parking in front of our apartment, WIFI was good for our 4 devices, full sized washer and drier were very convenient. We thought the thoughtful details were very nice like (coffee, salt/pepper/butter, SMORE making supplies, cleaning products were a nice touch.)
I especially enjoyed hiking around the area's trails and watching the horses. This is a working farm, but nestled right into a hilly, quiet, and serene countryside.”

“Apartment A and B are on a working farm above a large workshop, across from a barn. The workshop and barn are used daily, with farm vehicles sharing the airbnb parking area. The workshop underneath the apartment is busy every day with the sounds of repairs. The activity is interesting, but it is not a peaceful environment. When someone speaks in the other Apartment you can hear each word. Each step in the other apartment can be felt and the dishes rattle with the vibration. When the other apartment is empty, and the farmers leave for the evening, the trucks, trailers and tractors are parked, then the apartment is peaceful and quiet.
Hollys place is immaculate, with with many thoughtful touches. Coffee and cream, lots of towels, laundry soap, fire starters and s'more fixins. There is a firepit and chairs for each apartment. You need to bring your own firewood, or collect fallen wood from the property. The Apartment is 2 miles from Pond View Farm, the countryside is beautiful.”
