Lovely established neighborhood conveniently located halfway between DFW Airport and Fort Worth, in the Mid Cities area, 1 mile from the TexRail Smithfield Station. Long-time homeowners, big trees, sidewalks for strolling, easy access to main roads. Nearby restaurants, bars, groceries, parks & everything you need, including world-class fitness centers, historic Grapevine, Old Towne Keller, & so much more. I want your stay to be safe, enjoyable, relaxing, stress free, and even FUN! Meticulous attention to detail is my way. I am relatively new to the rental space industry. My beautifully renovated master suite in my home of 32+ years is in a quiet neighborhood with a private keyless entry and driveway parking. In-suite mini-split HVAC, fully outfitted kitchenette, with a washer/dryer combo are essential accoutrements for your convenience, including a 50" Roku TV. With a meticulous eye for detail, the suite, and the stunning shared backyard oasis, will be the perfect home-away-from-home for any traveling professional or a quiet respite. My Suite is listed on multiple sites, and recently has been booked for longer stays from another platform, therefore fewer Airbnb reviews lately. My desire is to make it an exceptional experience, so your input will be invaluable, even though I have tried to anticipate every small need, with some delightful surprises, as well. This is a labor of Love, to ultimately benefit my guest tenants, my community, and even the larger picture of a better world, filled with kindness, consideration, and the Golden Rule. "Leave the world a better place", as my Mama said... A recent addition, the queen bed has a custom-made organic mattress topper from Natural Bed Company, and along with 100% cotton sheets, your sleep will be cozy and dreamy. Home made natural laundry soap and mostly non-chemical cleaning supplies are provided for your healthy and happy stay at Sweet Bliss Suite. Sadly, I had an unhappy guest that gave a one-star review. There is so much more to this story, and my Mama said that if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all, so I didn't leave him a review. From my perspective, Gary was great. Quiet, respectful, and left the suite in good shape. He left early and wanted a full refund. I have the full transcript of our conversation if it matters. What he failed to say is that he had booked 14 days, and left after 6, without any warning, and 8 hours later said, and here is his exact quote in his Airbnb message, "HI Charla, had something pressing that has forced my return home a bit earlier than expected. Will be back soon and hope the comfortable suite might be available. Will definitely see you again throughout the year. Thanks so much for your hospitality and a wonderful stay. " Anyone wanting the rest of the story, I am willing to share... I was blindsided & gut-punched by his venomous review, which honest conversation could have prevented! SO SAD to me. I always look for win/win. My prayer for Gary and for humanity is, "May You Be Blissed!", because a Master is 'One Who Blesses!" My labor of love, my Sweet Bliss Suite, has blessed me greatly, as a Senior in these unsteady times. I love being your home away from home, and a calm, peaceful, beautiful respite from the chaos of life. Yes, it is in my home of 32+ years, where I raised my family, and retired. You will feel right at home in Sweet Bliss Suite. If you have questions, suggestions or requests, please reach out and ASK. 💖 If you need something, please ASK. I'm right next door. Your Suite is private, without access to the rest of the house. We will most likely run into each other since we share a driveway and the entire back yard. I am happy to visit on occasion, depending on your preferences. I have zero interest in other peoples' lives (don't even care to read People magazine because I just do not care about gossip and other peoples business). You get to relax and enjoy Sweet Bliss Suite quietly and privately. When I am in the backyard, tending to the pool, trash, etc, or with my granddaughter and family occasionally, I will always avert my eyes from looking inside the suite, even if the curtains are open. Respectful privacy is a big deal to me. ☀️ Note: The pool controls inside the Suite are not to be used. If you want to use the Spa, the controls are outside on the wall by the equipment. Instructions are in the Welcome Book. Please ask before using the first time. It is 32+ years old, and needs TLC. The pool floor is rough and needs to be resurfaced, so swim shoes are recommended. All outside amenities (pool, spa, hammock, trampoline, grill, firepit, etc) are used at guests own risk. During the hot summers in Texas, the suite door, black outside table and turf get mighty hot. “**Guest beware** This host is intrusive and will make your stay extremely uncomfortable if looking for privacy and solitude. I’d arrived after a 16 hour trip to this host inspecting my parking as I pulled in. She then proceeded to keep me an additional hour of my evening explaining information that was already printed elsewhere. Every time I’d turned a corner within the property she was there on top of endless messages and request for my cell information. It was impossible to leave without seeing this host. Even when inside the suite, you would here her voice and movement all over the house above and next to the door. My trip was originally set for a solid two weeks. Due to the frustration of the host and atmosphere, I was forced to make alternate accommodations to keep my sanity. Upon leaving, this host refused to refund the unused portion of funds. Her reasoning was that she’d already exhausted the funds and kept reiterating the airbnb cancellation policy. Steer clear at all costs!!”

“This wonderful suite was perfect for a week staying in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. It is a short ride to the train, which runs regularly and frequently to/from the DFW airport or Fort Worth, and multiple stops in between, but was also a very quiet neighborhood that was a pleasure to stroll through as time permitted. The hostess was very attentive to any needs, and made sure any questions asked were answered quickly. She seemed to go out of her way to make everything comfortable, but genuinely seemed to enjoy that part of hospitality. Internet connectivity was like being at home, so there was no limit to doing things online when needed. This is a place that will become a regular stop in the future anytime the Dallas / Fort Worth area is the destination.”

“We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The apartment was truly beautiful and had everything we could possibly need – nothing was missing. Everything was perfect. Our host was incredibly welcoming and kind, and we really enjoyed spending time chatting with her over a glass of wine. The surroundings were lovely, with a gorgeous pool and a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our vacation.

“What a special find! My husband and I stayed there for a month whilst getting settled into a new city, and we could not have possibly done any better than Charla’s place. She is a fantastic host, so keen to provide for absolutely anything we needed, most of which she had already thought about before we even arrived! We had everything we needed including a giant bath and swimming pool, and so many thoughtful extra details. The neighborhood is quiet, the apartment is very comfy and warm, and Charla knows the whole greater metroplex so well and was incredibly friendly, generous and helpful. “The place was very homey. My husband and I stayed for several weeks and really enjoyed our time there. We loved the space, especially the large bathroom! Lots of windows for natural light, but great blackout curtains for a good nights rest. The bed was very comfortable. The host is a sweetheart. She was diligent in communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. The kitchenette is super cute, updated, and really functional. She thought of all of the items that one might need in the space. She even provided homemade laundry soap, cleaners, and hand soap which was a really nice touch! There was lots of room to hang clothes in the closet, and a large dresser. The backyard is beautiful and peaceful, and the place is in a great neighborhood. We were close to Walmart and grocery stores, a beautiful park, and perfectly situated between Fort Worth and Grapevine. Honestly sad to leave this spot. We hope to visit again one day! You will enjoy your time here!”
