Perched high above the whitewashed villages of Ventorros de San José and Zagra, Casita Zagra looks out over rolling olive groves and an unbroken stretch of sierra. By September, the fierce heat of summer has softened into warm, golden days — perfect for long walks, lazy afternoons by the pool, and evenings spent on the terrace watching the sun sink behind the mountains in a blaze of colour. October brings something rarer still: the olive harvest. Die Zufahrtsstraße ist auch mit einem normalen Auto gut befahrbar.
Am besten in Loja mit allen Lebensmitteln eindecken und dann ein paar Tage auf dem Hügel genießen.”

“Le logement était fidèle aux photos, tout était propre à notre arrivée. Notre hôte a été accueillant et sympathique, il a respecté notre intimité. Le point négatif a été au niveau de la route pour y accéder, le logement se situe en haut d’une montagne et la route est en assez mauvais état, ça a donc été assez compliqué pour notre voiture qui n’est pas un 4x4. Nous avons donc dû garer notre voiture plus loin et ce n’était pas pratique de devoir faire des aller retour à pied pour aller chercher nos affaires. Nous n’avons pas pu osé sortir le soir pour aller manger dehors à cause des routes en mauvais état. En dehors de l’emplacement et de la route, tout s’est bien passé et nous avons aimé le logement, je le recommande pour des personnes qui ont un véhicule adapté et qui veulent se reposer.”

Het zwembad is heerlijk privé en goed vertoeven. Het uitzicht is fenomenaal en rustgevend. We kunnen iedereen deze plek aanraden!”
“Wir verbrachten eine Woche in Grahams Ferienwohnung, die aus zwei separaten Gebäuden besteht. Eins mit Küche, Schlafcouch und Bad, das andere mit zwei Einzelbetten, Sofa und Badezimmer. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr freundlich begrüßt sogar mit Wein und anderen kalten Getränken. Highlight ist definitiv der sehr große Pool der sich zwischen der Casita und dem Wohnhaus der Besitzer befindet. Wir hatten ihn zur alleinigen Nutzung und konnten vom Pool und der Terrasse auch einige tolle Sonnenuntergänge genießen. Danke für den netten Empfang und die schöne Zeit!”

Mejoraría la limpieza debido a la gran cantidad de bichos dentro de la casa y muchísimas telarañas en zonas de uso cotidiano (zonas en las que había recogedor y fue imposible utilizar). Gran amabilidad del propietario y dispuesto a ayudar en lo que se necesite.
Las vistas desde la piscina son inmejorables pero se encuentra en la casa del propietario, cosa que desconocíamos.”

“Graham provided us with good instructions on how to get to the house, which is quite remote. He was very friendly and we were welcomed with a bottle of wine as well.
Unfortunately, we happened to be there during a cold and rainy period, so the house was pretty cold (although they did provide us with portable heaters) and the electricity was on and off one day - understandably, weather is out of anyone's control. The bathroom in the building with the kitchen smelled of sewage though, so we kept that door shut.”

The highlights of our trip was watching the breathtaking sunsets every night and how it evolves into a galaxy of night stars. The pool area is completely private and has stunning views of the olive trees as far as the eye can see. WiFi speed is spot on. Very friendly locals who greeted us every day. “Graham and his wife were very welcoming. The property has stunning views and the house is very pleasant. It is important to note that the property is remote. The nearest shop is 10 to 15 mins drive and restaurants the same or longer. Malaga is 1h20 away, Granada 1h and Iznajar just about 30 mins. However the tranquillity and pool and views made up for this!! It's was very peaceful! The house is also split into 2 with the bedroom being in a separate building just meters away from lounge and kitchen area . The patio is a lovely place for breakfast and watching the sunset. The WiFi was reliable.
The bedroom housed twin beds only which I wasn't aware of but may have been my fault for not reading the information properly.

“La Casita is in a beautiful location, with stunning views over the mountains, it has a lovely pool with a range of places to sit and relax. The accommodation is split into two small buildings, one for sleeping and the other with the kitchen/living room, both of which were very clean and spacious- although we spent most of our time outside! Graham and Lynn were lovely hosts, who welcomed us on arrival, with bottles of wine and olive oil! They have three lovely dogs who came and said hello when we were sitting by the pool. Thanks Graham and Lynn, hopefully see you again!”

“Very beautiful apartment, clean and as described, in a quite place surrounded from olive trees. Graham was very helpful and anything I needed, the response was quick. We have found at our arrival a bottle of wine, water and something else, very agreeable details!!! The bedroom is separated from the living room as in a tipical spanish "cortijo".
