The beach down the street are mostly tide pools down steep steps, but the big beach is just a few minutes drive away. The sunsets were beautiful and the beach was amazing. “Diana’s Boho Beach Cottage was the perfect anniversary home base. Steps from the bluffs with the beach just a short walk away, thoughtfully decorated with antiques and laughing Buddha touches that actually matched the vibe, and every amenity worked. We used everything including the ceramic fireplace, the washer/dryer, and the kettle for late night tea. Diana checked in on us genuinely and proactively, which made all the difference. We explored the dunes with our service dog Philo, had a golden hour photoshoot, and ate incredibly well in the area. The cottage made all of it feel easy. One of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had and we will absolutely be back.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Dianna's home. It's not next to Pismo Beach proper, which is a plus if you're looking for a relaxed vacation, as the neighborhood is clean and quiet. The ocean is nearby, but it's a rockier stretch of coast (and quite pretty). The house itself feels like a real home with lots of personal touches, and Diana's videos and instructions make getting to know it very easy; she's quite professional in that way. The only potential negatives are that it's not next to the sandy stretch of Pismo Beach (but again, that area is noisier and less relaxing), and it's an older house, so things are a little quirkier than they would be in a new build. But we didn't experience any problems because of it, and it's well-maintained for its age. Overall, we'd definitely stay there again in a heartbeat.”

“My husband and I came during August. Temperature was mid to high 70s during the day. When we got to the house in the evening it was very hot inside despite the temperature having cooled down outside. We opened all the windows and turned on the two installed fans (living room and bedroom) as well as used the 2 portable fans provided but were unable to effectively cool down the house. The heat made it VERY difficult to sleep as well as the unsettling fact that none of the windows have screens. My husband found a wolf spider in his suitcase in the morning and I couldn’t help but think it could be because of that.
The place was otherwise comfortable and good location. I appreciated being able to bring my little dog with us to this Airbnb.”

“This location is accessible to some gorgeous views of the ocean. You can walk down to the shoreline. The home is old and there were hardly enough outlets and it was just musty stuffy. Host was gracious and kind. It would work ok for 1 or 2 guests but the sofa bed was busted on the bottom corner and very difficult to pull out. My son had a hard time sleeping on it. This place is quaint and the location is a nice quiet get-away.”

“Cozy and beautifully decorated cottage within walking distance to the ocean and a great coffee shop. Well appointed and comfy bedroom in the main bedroom. Perfect for 2-3 people. The blow up bed is also comfortable, but the couch pull out bed has seen better days. That mattress would need to be placed directly on the floor. There is a kuerig machine, but bring your own pods. There is plenty of oil and spices for cooking.
I loved all of the details: warm lighting, pretty dishes, lots of comfortable seating, nice outdoor seating in back and on the front patio, great decor. We will be back! Thank you.”
