“It is a nice place - but it is a unit as part of home (I missed that in the description so read carefully). On a positive side, Shona is very responsive. If you check off a pet then the price includes the pet (there was some confusion as it seemed like I was being asked to pay extra- but I was not - clarified with Shona).
The wine bottle was a nice touch and there was enough coffee, tea, etc. the unit was kept nice and cool and check in was very easy. The location is fine - but given the weather (hot summer) we ended up driving most place.
Keep in mind it is an older unit so even though it was clean and AC units were on, it did not feel as such. Many of the items felt like they needed updating. The towels and sheets were what you might find in a lower grade hotel.
Given we had our sweet doggy with us we were happy we found a place that was near a park and that was the best part.”

“The place was airy and spacious, plenty of room to spread out, we especially loved hanging out on the front porch in the morning and evening. The shower was fantastic, the bathtub big and unusual.
We walked to the Dali Museum and the Pier and to Central. Also a very cute cafe just up the block next to the pond, which was also cute. I also played pickleball at crescent lake.
There wasn’t a lot of space for suitcases in the bedrooms, but then there was a big dressing room in the back. The light switches were in odd places but we got used to it. Parking was tight, but we always managed a spot within a block.”

“Great place for two couples. The two bedrooms with attached bathrooms were just what we needed. One bath had a shower and the other had a claw foot tub. Comfy living room and fully stocked kitchen. Hosts are very communicative. Easy walk to restaurants in downtown St Pete. Would definitely stay here again!”

“Very cute, well decorated house. Had some issues with the A/C and TV… messaged host, took some time to get back to me. The second to last days they came to look at the A/C which was not working and said that a power surge from the last storm caused the TV and A/C to not work. Offered to give me a free night, still waiting on refund. The location was amazing, easy walk to downtown. Still a lot of debris in the area from the storm. Just be aware that there is only 1 shower, which is clearly stated in the description. (Wasn’t a problem for us)”

“We enjoyed the at-home feel of this house. It was part of our four-night stay as an annual girls trip to a ballpark. Tropicana Field was less than a ten minute drive away and there was a great restaurant/bar nearby called The Bier Boutique! Hosts was proactive in checking in on us and messaged us hours ahead letting us know that early check in was available. Would definitely recommend!”
“Beautiful apartment in a charming bungalow near downtown St. Petersburg. The apartment has a lot of charm, lovely renovated wood floors. Walkable to coffee shops and local restaurants. Comfortable furnishings. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils. There is an apartment upstairs also, so be aware that you may hear some footfall, if it gets too loud, a gentle reminder to upstairs guests but they had “neighbors” worked wonders for us. Our hosts were very responsive and accommodating, when we had to unexpectedly extend our stay. Would definitely recommend this lovely apartment”

“Nicely restored 100+ year old home with lots of charm, very nicely decorated and appointed and some great cafes in walking distance just on the other side of small park. Charming courtyard area on the interior that you share with other guests and nice front porch area on the street side with couches and a large table for outdoor entertaining. Parking is street only and can be a little challenging. Lets going on in this area.”

“A little far for me to walk to downtown more than once a day but only a $5 Uber to get most places in the pier area. We drove a big truck so street parking and navigation was a pain so we just stayed parked and ubered. The house is very clean and charming with nice amenities and we would stay there again.”

Supplies (toilet paper and coffee) were more limited than I usually see in an airbnb this size and might be frustrating for a larger group or longer stay. Response time from hosts was just okay and long list of rules provided made me hesitant to contact them at all.”

“This house was adorable! The check in process was easy. The backyard was awesome although we didn’t use it other than to drink coffee one morning because it rained a lot. We Uber’d to the bars on the waterfront and it was a 5 min Uber/Lyft ride. Beds were comfy as well. I’d certainly go back!”

“The location is excellent! Close to downtown and the weather, but with a neighborhood feel!
We came in for a wedding with a reservation for 6 people, while spacious enough for all 6, it was really set up for 4 people. Unfortunately we needed to do laundry and run the dishwasher to keep up. (4 set of towels/ place settings etc) We did message the owners in the morning while getting ready, and received 2 more towels and a bathmat late that afternoon.
We also had some struggle with palmetto bugs, but that is a bit of Florida for you.
All in all - it is location, location, location and this has it. The owners may address our issues, so just message ahead of time so you can bring all you need for your stay and enjoy all that St Peter has to offer.”

“Nice place in a good location if hanging downtown is your thing. It was for us, we walked everywhere. Parking was no problem right in front of the house.
Lots of folks mentioned the shower and they were right- it’s inspirational! It should be noted that each bathroom is accessed through a bedroom. The king bedroom has a tub in the bathroom while the queen bedroom has the amazing shower.
Overall, it was a good experience and a nice stay. I feel that the biggest negative these days is with the entire Airbnb platform- the fees jack up the nightly rate way too much. Of course, you know this going in but it’s giving us pause for concern moving forward. A boutique hotel might be much more affordable.”

It is a downstairs unit, but the only time we heard the upstairs tenants was when they used the stairs. there is a completely separate entrance. with multiple codes for the front door. We felt very safe. The outdoor space is lovely. The shower is TO DIE FOR. I would come back here just for that shower. The house is in an amazng location, very walkable to many restaurants. We stayed at many Air bnbs on this trip, and this one was by far the best. Thoughtful touches for convenience.”

“Lovely! This was such a cozy charming spot in a great walking location of saint pete. Loved getting bagels at pete's general right across the park. Really comfortable huge beds and pillows, quiet a/c, loved the claw foot tub. Note that there is potential for noise. No one was above us during our stay but I could hear the people to the side of us pretty loudly from the front bedroom, but earplugs did the trick at night.”

How will the dead animal smell go away when you put an air freshener. We saw few cockroaches, rat poop and a rat running behind the refrigerator.”

“We really enjoyed our stay. Inside was neat as a pin. I was amazed that a 100+ year old house could have such great air conditioning. Which everyone knows is important during the Florida summer. Also, for a 100+ year old house; there is no funky smell. It smelled really clean inside. Not chemical clean, just clean.
The house was well stocked and everything worked. The locks were easy to manage. I took two showers a day because the shower is 100 times better than mine at home. The back yard is cute and perfect if you have a little todler bouncing around. We liked hanging on the front porch and watching the dog walkers stroll to and from the park.
The neighborhood is a mix of characters. You will see a bit of everything. It's urban, you need to be able to parallel park if you want to park in front of the house. You get a lot of foot traffic and some cars during the day. It's really quiet at night.”
